Birchwood Lakes Triathlon

THE RACE

Birchwood Lakes Colony Club’s popular annual sprint triathlon features a quarter-mile sandy beach start swim in deep, fresh, well-maintained water (no muck!), followed by a 13.2-mile bike ride and a 3.1-mile run. The run and bike courses are on flat, shaded, well-marshaled roads. Roads are open to traffic with police on key corners to stop traffic during the race. Participants must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. The event begins and ends at 47 S. Lakeside Dr W., Medford, New Jersey, and includes both individual and relay team options. Race results are managed by DQ Events. (All race day parking is available at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, located at 40 Jackson Road, Medford NJ, which is approximately a twenty-minute walk to the event start.)

All participants must sign up online via RunSignUp. There are no paper applications nor is cash accepted. Online registration closes at the start of the race and race-day registrations have an increased fee.

Packet Pick-up: Friday, June 27 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 – 7:45 a.m. at Birchwood Lakes Clubhouse, 47 S. Lakeside Dr. West, Medford NJ.

Event Start: 8 a.m. sharp, 47 S. Lakeside Dr. West.

POST-RACE PARTY

After the race, enjoy a post-race BBQ on Birchwood’s beach as winners are announced. Free beverages, hamburgers and hot dogs!
